What age is Junior Martial Arts for?

The junior route is designed for children aged 7-10.

Will my child be pushed too hard?

Classes have standards, but coaching is progressive and appropriate for the group.

What do juniors learn?

They learn movement, striking, coordination, confidence, discipline and respectful training habits.

Can my child start if they are nervous or shy?

Yes. Classes are coached to help children settle in gradually, at their own pace, rather than putting them on the spot.

Can I watch or ask questions before deciding?

Send an enquiry and John can explain the best option and the current viewing arrangements for the class you are considering.

Does my child need equipment for their first class?

Not usually. John will confirm what to bring before you attend, and some intro courses include starter equipment.

Can we start partway through the month?

For regular classes, John can advise the best start point. Some intro courses use a monthly cohort date so new students begin together.
