The Foundation
Built from practice, not theory.
John started training as a young person and has never stopped. His background covers striking, grappling, weapons and principle-led training - with lineage that connects him directly to some of the most influential names in contemporary martial arts.
Over time, that foundation expanded into coaching, then into mindset work, then into deeper therapeutic support. Each area grew from the same question: what actually helps people improve, perform and change?
Lineage
Taught by the best.

John trained directly with Dan Inosanto - Bruce Lee's protege and one of the most respected martial arts instructors in the world - as well as Rick Young, one of the UK's most influential martial arts coaches. That lineage is direct and verifiable, not decorative.
Three Areas
One complete coaching system.
Martial Arts
JKD, Kali, Kickboxing, Filipino Boxing, Silat, Boxing and self-protection across striking, movement, weapons and empty-hand ranges.
Mindset & Coaching
Coaching-led support around confidence, focus, standards and follow-through, now centred more clearly around Re-Energise and direct coaching.
Therapeutic Work
RTT, Advanced Conversational Hypnosis and the McKean Approach for deeper personal change and transformation.
The coaching approach
Serious coaching. Friendly atmosphere.
John breaks skills down clearly, gives people room to learn and increases challenge when they are ready. The academy has standards, but it does not rely on posturing, pressure or an ego-driven culture to uphold them.
Technology supports that coaching through learning, reflection and progression inside the member academy. It never replaces the relationship between a student and the coach guiding the next step.

You will also train with Robert.
Robert coaches alongside John across the academy's classes. Students regularly mention him by name for his patience, clear coaching and the way he breaks techniques down into manageable steps.
