Inside JKD and Kali

Principles that connect the whole art.

Jeet Kune Do and Kali are studied as connected systems rather than a collection of impressive-looking drills. Students learn how distance, timing, angle and rhythm shape a situation, and how principles can transfer between weapon training, empty-hand striking and close-range work.

The programme draws on John's direct training lineage with Dan Inosanto and Rick Young while remaining practical for the people in front of him today. Beginners can start here, although some adults may benefit from building confidence through kickboxing first. John will help identify the entry point that makes the training useful rather than overwhelming.

What this route develops

Proven depth

Why the programme is deep enough to commit to.
